As the intensity of this course is high, we expect the students to have completed 200 hour Yoga teacher training course from Yoga Alliance USA.
Successful completion of 200 and 300 hours makes the student eligible to be registered as RYT 500 on the Yoga Alliance website. This is a very good value addition to the overall profile to have a good yogic career.

Ashtanga Yoga
Along with covering the philosophical part of Ashtanga Yoga, you will also learn the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga Asana. Not only the asana practise, but one will also learn to instruct along with counts in Sanskrit and opening and closing mantras. Below is a brief weekly schedule

Vinyasa Flow

(a) Written assessment – Completion of assignment
(b) Practical assessment – designing, sequencialising and conducting Yoga session
Student’s conduct throughout the training will be an essential criteria
Attendance – minimum 90% wherein student must have presented the valid and agreed reason for 10% absenteeism

Rishikesh Yogshala’s 300-hour Yoga teacher training course will enable you to become an RYT 300 (Registered Yoga Teacher). This is an advanced-level certification that signifies that you have gone through the training program that adheres to the Yoga Alliance educational standards. With this certification, one can teach Yoga globally and also can become an ERYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) after completion of one-year post certification.
Their mission is to promote the art of health and wellbeing and imparting knowledge of the value of Yoga around the world.
Every aspirant who is looking to teach Yoga anywhere in the world must follow the set guidelines by Yoga Alliance. Regular feedback is also shared with the Registered Yoga Schools to make sure of that they are all compliant with the updated guidelines.
Evaluation Criteria
- 100% attendance is mandatory in all the sessions that include Theory, Pranayama, and Meditation classes

Yoga Alliance certificate’s eligibility requirements
- As this is an advanced level course, one has to be certified in 200-hour Yoga TTC registered with Yoga Alliance
- As this course is intense any severe health issues and conditions should be discussed and disclosed prior to blocking your seat
- As the language of knowledge delivery is English, it is best to have someone who understands English
- The topics will be covered in detail, so the students are expected to have the basic knowledge relating to anatomy, alignment and philosophy
- Ashtanga primary series will be covered very briefly so having prior knowledge and practise of the same would be preferred.
If for any reason, a participant is found unfit to complete the course, we keep the right to discontinue his/her course without any refund. In some of the inevitable situations Rishikesh Yogshala may allow participants to complete the course in the near future with the same fee and no additional charges.

What is 300-hour Yoga Teacher training?
300 hour YTTC is an advanced-level practise that requires basic knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Yoga. So it is preferred to have 200 hour certification done before 300 hours YTTC enrolment.
What is the intensity level of 300 hour Yoga TTC?
The intensity of Asanas as well as theory is very high as we cover Ashtanga intermediate series as a part of Asana and students are given a lot of assignments to be done every day along with teaching practice.
Can a beginner do this course?
It is not recommended for a beginner to do this course as it is very intense and needs a few months of practice to go to next level. A beginner can choose to do 200 hours, practice for few months and come back for 300 hours
What level of Ashtanga will be covered in this course?
Ashtanga primary and intermediate series will be covered in 300 hour Yoga TTC along with the teaching practise
Will there be any evaluation?
Students will be evaluated in every subject based on their teaching capabilities. For some of the subjects we also conduct quiz or written test.

Rules and Code of Conduct
- Attending all classes is mandatory except for emergency cases.
- Uninformed leaves will affect student’s monthly performance.
- For good use of the course, the student will commit to dedicating at least two hours to the daily study.
- The teaching materials are protected by copyright and should not be misused
- Classes have their established start time that must be respected at all times.
- Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the school.
- Inform kitchen staff in advance if you don’t need food to avoid wastage.
- Always maintain discipline, and respect for teachers
- Clear your books of account before departure from Rishikesh Yogshala
- Before departure, return your books, mats or any other school belongings
- The accommodation provided is only for students.
- Relatives can be accommodated in another room at an additional cost.
- Students have to be present in all scheduled programs of Rishikesh Yogshala.
Course Fees Terms and Conditions:
Payment of $110 (which includes $10 PayPal or bank charges) for international students and 5000 INR for Indian students. This is a non-refundable advance payment. If you would like to change the dates, then you have to inform us atheist 30 days in advance, so we can make arrangements to fill up your seat.
The balance amount is payable at your arrival and you need to clear your fees within one week of start of your course
- The advance booking amount is Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable to any other person. Cancellation due to any reason will not be accepted and the deposit paid will be forfeited.
- To change the course month, we will need 45 days advance notice to make the required adjustments depending upon the availability of seats.
- If the students cancel the course after joining, the course fees will not be refunded.
