Course Syllabus – 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
The syllabus of 100 hours is designed as per the Yoga alliance requirements for RYT 200. Below is a quick overview of the syllabus that we cover:
Ashtanga Yoga
Along with covering the philosophical part of Ashtanga Yoga, you will also learn the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga Asana. Not only the asana practise, but one will also learn to instruct along with counts in Sanskrit and opening and closing mantras. Below is a brief weekly schedule

Vinyasa Flow
Along with Ashtanga practice, one will also be trained in Vinyasa Flow which covers the Hatha Yoga postures. The idea here will be to train the students on how to create the flows with proper sequencing for a peak posture or any theme-based flows like arm balancing, hip opening etc.
Yoga Philosophy
As this is a holistic Yoga course, gaining knowledge of ancient yogic philosophy is of utmost importance. The overall evaluation of 100 hours Yoga teacher training at Rishikesh Yogshala India based on below assessment:
(a) Written assessment – Completion of assignment
(b) Practical assessment – designing, sequencialising and conducting Yoga session
Student’s conduct throughout the training will be an essential criteria
Attendance – minimum 90% wherein student must have presented the valid and agreed reason for 10% absenteeism

A 100-hour YTTC will provide you with a certification from school but without any stamp. With this you have the opportunity to complete the rest 100 hours with us which will give you 200 hour of YTTC certification
Rishikesh Yogshala’s 200-hour teacher training course is registered with Yoga alliance USA. So the certification that you will get will have a stamp of RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) from Yoga Alliance and you can then become a part of the global community of Registered Yoga teachers. Post-completion of the course, if you are registered under this brand, it is a great addition to your YOGA profile as this certification is globally recognized.
Evaluation Criteria
- 90% attendance is mandatory in all the sessions that include Theory, Pranayama, and Meditation classes

FAQS – 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
What is Yoga TTC?
Yoga TTC stands for Yoga Teacher Training Course which is registered with Yoga Alliance. This makes the Course certification globally applicable. Note that there are schools that run YTTC without Yoga Alliance registration which is not preferable or worth the money that is spent on the course.
What is 100-hour Yoga Teacher training?
100 hour Yoga teacher training course is a 12-day residential program that can be completed by those who can’t take 24 days off from work. We provide 100 hours which is 12 days course and of entire 24 days course of 200 hours.
Can I start teaching after getting certified in 100-hour Yoga TTC?
As this is not a complete 200-hour Yoga TTC, the certificate won’t be valid globally. However one can use this course to begin their journey and continue their own practise
What to find a good Yoga school in Rishikesh?
A good Yoga school can be determined by the quality of the teacher, reviews from students and also if they are a Registered Yoga School by Yoga Alliance. Rishikesh Yogashala meets all of these requirements.
Can I extend by further 100 hours to get myself 200 hours certified?
Yes, after completing 100 hours one can decide to extend further in the same month or they can come back within a year to complete the rest 100 hours so they become 200 hours Yoga TTC certified.
Code of Conduct at Rishikesh Yogshala
Rules and Code of Conduct
- Attending all classes is mandatory except for emergency cases.
- Uninformed leaves will affect student’s monthly performance.
- For good use of the course, the student will commit to dedicating at least two hours to the daily study.
- The teaching materials are protected by copyright and should not be misused
- Classes have their established start time that must be respected at all times.
- Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the school.
- Inform kitchen staff in advance if you don’t need food to avoid wastage.
- Always maintain discipline, and respect for teachers
- Clear your books of account before departure from Rishikesh Yogshala
- Before departure, return your books, mats or any other school belongings
- The accommodation provided is only for students.
- Relatives can be accommodated in another room at an additional cost.
- Students have to be present in all scheduled programs of Rishikesh Yogshala.
Course Fees Terms and Conditions:
Payment of $110 (which includes $10 PayPal or bank charges) for international students and 5000 INR for Indian students. This is a non-refundable advance payment. If you would like to change the dates, then you have to inform us atheist 30 days in advance, so we can make arrangements to fill up your seat.
The balance amount is payable at your arrival and you need to clear your fees within one week of start of your course
- The advance booking amount is Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable to any other person. Cancellation due to any reason will not be accepted and the deposit paid will be forfeited.
- To change the course month, we will need 45 days advance notice to make the required adjustments depending upon the availability of seats.
- If the students cancel the course after joining, the course fees will not be refunded.
